About the Award

The REAL Photography Award is a new and exclusive photography award created by ING Real Estate to promote international contemporary photography. The award is presented every two years. The themes that have been chosen for the REAL Photography Award are Nature, Development and Architecture.

A tribute to development, nature and architecture as registered by photographers and society

An international jury whose members have earned their spurs in the areas of modern art, architecture and photography, will select the winner. The prize money is EUR 50,000. The jury will select the winner solely from the works that have been submitted. Nationality, gender or earlier productions made by the applying artists will not be considered. The 30 best photographers will be nominated and offered an exclusive exhibition.

Artists are invited to sign up with one participating photograph and two supporting photographs. The photographs are required to have been taken during the last two years, to capture current contemporary photography.
