David Rogers is director of Design at the Jerde Partnership and responsible for several of the company's most innovative, award-winning projects, including The Freemont Street Experience in Las Vegas and Beursplein in Rotterdam, The Netherlands.
David's design approach is one of the new world modernist in a profession over ever-expanding globalisation - creating and inventing urban places that celebrate the human spirit within a context of a sustainable building environment.
David is currently working on the design for GETZ and Amsterdamse Poort, which together will create Amsterdam's primary entertainment destination adjacent to the existing arena and will re-connect the fabric of its urban context. He is also overseeing the completion of the Dubai Festival City, the Middle East's largest, privately-funded development. David prides himself on creating projects to revitalise districts such as Warsaw in Poland and Hangzhou in China. The award-winning 2-million square-foot Zlote Tarasy aims to help restore Warsaw's urban identity; and the 2.2 million square-foot Core Pacific City is a landmark urban centre, richly enhancing the city of Tapei.
